Well tomorrow will be a week since I took Alex in and he was last here. Andrew has given off so many different signals. I am lonely without my cuddle buddy. Andrew has been a cat that cuddles when he wants to and left alone all other times. We were without heat the day I had to put Alex to sleep so Andrew couldn't sleep in his favorite box since it is out in a hallway and I only had a couple of space heaters to keep a 1 bedroom apartment warm. That was where Alex was when I put him in the carrier to go. We had heat the next day and he has been able to go out there since the guy fixed it. Andrew even did his inspection of Kory's new dog food by putting holes in the bag. It was Royal Canin so it is known to be a cat chewing bag. I got a call from the landlady and her daughter has 2 kittens and doesn't want them anymore because they are too much work. She asked me if I want one and can find the other a new home or she is going to take them to the pound. I see it as a sign from Alex. I was going to go to the humane society to get another kitten/cat. I can't let them go to the pound. All my cats have been rescues including Andrew, who came from a hoarder. I am going to talk to the landlady tomorrow and let her know if I can do it at our pace I will try and take both as they are litter mates. They are cute. One is orange, which is what I want, and the other is gray and white. I will have to have them vetted before I total bring them in to Andrew With them being kittens there is lots of places that they can get away from Andrew. I had to just bring Andrew in here or he was going to go to the pound as they were there to pick them up. Alex was a gentle giant with the ideal. No hissing or fighting. These kittens are about the same size as Andrew was when I got him. I did see a kitten I wanted at the humane society. I know he will have a good chance of getting adopted but with these going to the pound it isn't as good since the shelter just got a hoarding recovery in with over 50 cats. So that is why these 2 are pulling at me. I just hope I'm not moving too fast. I may tell her that I will vet them with vaccines, Felv/FIV test and spay/neuter before even trying to bring them in. Even if it doesn't work they will have a better chance to get a new home. Let me know what you all think about it. I have posted on Tinykittens Unite and had good feedback so far. I didn't go into detail like I did with you all.
2 kittens don´t be too much work, because they keep company to one another and play together etc. Only 1 kitten is too much work because it need more company from humans and can be pesky when want play and play more. 2 little kittens are always better then 1 kitten.
2 kittens don´t tease Andrew because they have each other.
We take 2 kittens at the same time. We know that they don´t tease old Ladys so much because they can play and chase each other.
For example today at morning Pinja and Vili play chase game together.
I say take both kittens if you can.
