Hey guys, we have a few ideas for Space Program that we want to run by you... (and you know we always welcome new ones too). Anyway... some things we are thinking about...
1) You know how TK painted their fence and then some lucky TK kitties (not us) got to put a little picture of themselves on there? Well we were thinking maybe we could do something like that but digitally. A Bitty Space Program Crew wall, where everybody could draw themselves in some way (doesn't have to be good drawings).
2) A crew relay. We would get something cool... like a blanket maybe and some cloth pens, and then we would send it to a crew member who would sign it or draw a small thing on it and include their town, and they would send it to the next person and so on. Maybe we could find a blanket with a map of the world or our logo in big. At the end, we could auction it off next year at the TK pub night silent auction.
Whatcha think? What else would be fun? Let's be imaginative and then we can vote on what we want to do next!

I think those ideas are really cool! I think maybe sending something across the world to be signed/drawn on may be difficult and expensive though! I know for me, sending something small to the UK is $40 shipping...so imagine sending a blanket or whatnot! I do like the idea though!! Maybe we can improvise and find something more cost effective!
I do like the idea of a virtual crew wall though! That would be totally pawsome!
Cosmo, maybe we could do a "within UK" one, then we only need to send to America once when we've finished!

Love these ideas! But I agree that the traveling blanket could be cumbersome and not cost effective. What if everyone made their own decorated fabric squares or patches and sent it to one person to put together as a blanket or wall hanging?Â
What about a book? Maybe we give the size parameters, and the idea, and a general story them, and then every crew member makes a page and sends it (by email), to the next to do the next page, and so on. At the end we'd have a whole story which we could print and then give or sell to crew? Wouldn't need to ship it around, except the end product, which we could also make digitally and then people could order it online? Maybe tell the story of our first space trip that way, with each crew member sharing how their job contributed to the mission?
All the crew pics could be emailed to one person who could do the book. Then the book could be purchased by each person or the pictures could be printed on material to do a blanket.

That sounds great! People outside NA could get the book as an e-book or something, in case they don't want to spend money on shipping! 😀Â
