Hey, has anyone been to Rome? My friends and I saw a photo of Civita di Bagnoregio and fell in love with it. We're planning a day trip there from Rome. The only question is, what is the best way to get there? The last time we rented a car, it turned out to be quite a hassle. Do you have any other suggestions, like taking a taxi? What did you use?

How long are you staying in Rome? If you have time, go to Ostia Antica—it's a cool place. My kids and I went to Civita di Bagnoregio last spring. It's very difficult to get there by public transportation. You have to take a train to Orvieto, then a bus, and then walk to the town. We didn't want to spend half a day changing modes of transportation, so we booked a taxi on Gettransfer. You can also take a look here https://gettransfer.com/en/directions/italy/rome   . We left in the morning and arrived in 1.5 hours. The driver waited while we walked around, took pictures of the city, and had lunch at Ristorante Il Fico. The food there is very tasty, by the way. Then, we calmly returned to Rome. It was much more comfortable, although more expensive. But what wouldn't you do for the comfort of your children?
