Hi! I am Finny and I'm super excited to be part of this seekrit mission. But, my mama is a school Principal so she's super busy right now and can't help me explore too much. Anyway, she has some time right now so here I am!
I live in Prague with my 2 humans and 2 fursisters, Chloe and Amelia. My mama is from Boston, MA but she's lived in Prague for almost 8 years. My other mama, meowmy, is from the Czech Republic so she's always lived here. My two sisters are older than me and since I was a baby rescue, everyone in my family helped bring me up!
My mama cat was a feral living in the city. We were born very late in the year, and started to freeze to death when we were still too tiny. My mama cat would not consent to live with humans, she brought us to a human house and cried for help until they came to rescue us. This family saved our lives, but couldn’t keep us, so they posted a photograph of my (very adorable if I say so myself) face on the facebooks, where my human mama saw and immediately fell in love – who could blame her? – and even though she and my meowmy already had two cats living with them and no plans to get more, she immediately asked to take me. She likes to say I was meant for her from the first, and it’s true there is a very special bond between us.
I'm very proud to be the Director of Health Services for the BSP. I give wonderful massages and excel at snuggle therapy and providing emotional support. I stand ready to serve any crew members in need.
You sounds nice. From Jack.
Nice to meet you, Director Finneas Fuzzbut the First! 😀
Such an emotive adoption story! We rescued cats are the best! 😘
I am Ella, director of search and rescue. I practicing by searching lizards and mama helps by rescuing. Today I searched something mama called a frog. It harder to catch than a lizard. It hops!
Mama is a history teacher in Florida. That’s where I was born. It is mostly hot. Do you get the white stuff in Prague? We just get rain here, it never gets the white stuff. It too hot.
You sound very brave. I picked my mama. I was in a cage with my brudders and sisters and I very scared so I hid behind everybody. But she came in and I knew she was mine, so I kept going to the front of the cage to grab her. But my arms too tiny. A little human saw me, and told her. She and all the other big humans had to check it out. They kept going around and around to see who I would come to. The little boy and I rolled our eyes at them. But mama realized what was happening and took me out of the cage. I purred and jumped on her head. Everyone said “awww.” Humans are weird. But she took me home! And I been with her ever since. She would not survive without me!
If you health director, do you take us to v-e-t? I don’t like them. Do we got to have shots? I don’t like them either. Do we got to eat right? I like cookies. I be very upset if I can’t have cookies. You got to have cookies to properly search and rescue.

Hi Keigo! It's nice to meet you too. I like your name. How do you pronounce it?
I feel very lucky to be rescued and part of my family. But mama says that she's the lucky one so I guess we are the best! 😉

Hi, Ella! It's nice to meet you. I've never seen a lizard or a frog before. But I think that I'd like something that hops!
My mama lived in Florida before she moved to Prague! She always tells meowmy it's proof of how much she loves her but I don't know what that means. I do know that it's very cold in Prague and I'm extremely glad my only experience with the white stuff is watching it through the window.
I think you sound brave too! I really like your story of picking your mama.
I take my job very seriously and if needed for the safety and health of our crew, there may have to be a v-e-t visit. But! I do everything possible to make sure there isn't. And that includes cookies because mama always tells me everything in moderation keeps us happy and healthy. Cookies for everyone!!
Hey Finny!
We were feral cats and then we were rescued, spent 3 years in the rescue and now we got a furever home and have been in it for 13 months! We work in the kitchen at mission control, Honey is chef and I'm sous-chef.
As you're director of Health services, you should know that last week I went to the V-E-T because I am a VERY special cat. My mama said that no-one would ever believe I used to be feral, and she was taking the doggo to sign up to be a blood donor... You see where this is going? Anyway, to cut a long story short, I passed my medical and temperament tests and now I can give blood up to 6 times a year to help other cats when they're poorly! How awesome am I? Mama is so so proud. Here's a picture of me and Phoebe at our appointment. Phoebe is very scared of me after she was napping under the window and I fell off the windowsill whilst I was sleeping and landed on top of her... Oops (not really though).
Look forward to working with you.

Oh, it's Japanese :3 Meowmy says she doesn't know how to write the correct pronunciation in English (she speaks Spanish).
"Kei" is like in "Kerrigan", but lengthen the "e" a bit.
The "i" is silent, but meowmy forgot most of the times and pronounce it anyway... 🤨
Then "go" is like in "goal".
Something like that 😊

Hi Treacle! How cool that you and Honey are rescued ferals?! I think that we'll sometimes work together as we plan and prepare for meals for the crew. But don't worry, even though I'm Director of Health Services, I like cookies as much as anybody else.
Thank you for telling me about your AWESOME work as a blood donor. That's really, really wonderful and you and mama should be very proud. I'm making a note in your file now. Go you!
Looking forward to working with you too.
