Topic starter

To post a new topic - for example your Introduction

  1. Pick the blue text of the Forum "Introduce Yourself"
  2. Click on the blue 'Add Topic' on the righthand side
  3. Add a title and text (all those little icons mean you can bold and italicize and centre and so on)
  4. When you're done, click on the 'Add Topic' at the bottom of the post.
  5. As this is your first time here, your post may be sent for moderation, we'll do it as quickly as we can

I posted our introduction incorrectly as a reply to Hello by 7KrazyKats.  I copied and pasted it according to your instructions which I just found (duh) but I can't figure out how to delete the original post.  Help please!

I think you can only delete a post you've made for a limited time period and then an admin or moderator has to do it.  Which I can do.

I'll also go in and check to see about turning that function off.  Can anyone think of a reason why someone shouldn't be able to delete their post at any time?  I mean, aside from grumpy people maybe getting upset... but trying to see why that would be beneficial?

Thank you!  I would like to be able to edit or delete a post that I've made, to me it just makes sense!

Can you make a post and then delete it after?  I think I've set it so there are no limits on when you can edit or delete, but need someone to test it and make sure I got it right.

I already edited a post of mine. Then it's shown below the post how many times it has been edited. I found this option very useful. Didn't try to delete a post yet.

Ok that's good.

I tried out another kind of forum and it had some useful options but it was so complicated.  I can't see our users even trying to figure out how it works.

So instead we'll try and get the kinks sorted out here.

Hi Cowgirl!

You did!  You posted!

If you are in a thread and want to respond, you just have to click on one of the little buttons below the post you are answering (like reply, etc.)

If you want to start a new thread you do that up at the top right on the main part of the forum.

We've been trying to work out kinks, so if you're still having trouble let us know.  Trying to make it as easy as possible 🙂
