Got up this morning and found Kory sitting in his crate leaning against the side. He was sleeping. I panic but didn't show it cause I thought he was dead as his head was in a funny position. I wasn't in the room his crate is in either. So when I saw that I came into the room and called his name. He woke up and was shocked I was standing there. So as soon as the VET opened I took him in. The doctor we have been working with always works on Saturday. I told her how he was sleeping, sitting and breathing. She was worried so we did 6 xray views and a blood test that checks the pancreatic condition called a CPL. The xrays showed nothing but was better then last Friday. The CPL was border line positive meaning he was at the start of a pancreatitis flair up. She said that could be why he was sitting and breathing the way he was. She sent the xrays to a specialist for review and got an answer back before she left for the day. They said his congestive heart condition was improving from Friday. To keep him on the level of heart meds. She also sent him home with a special diet for the pancreatitis and recheck it in a week. She also put him on a pain med to make it so he can relax. Well he is already doing better. Isn't sleeping sitting. He has been sleeping the way he normally sleeps. I have to keep him quiet still but to know we are on the right road to recovery I am relieved. His heart condition will never get totally better but he is a happy Space Slave dog with it. Oh yes Andrew had to inspect Kory's new food and it passed inspection.

Hey me telled bout me Space Slave dog no you MOM. Him gotted sick so mom tooked him to the VET in me Space stroller gain. Him comed home in me Space stroller wif a bag for me to impeck. Mom telled me him tummy owiee. Me telled mom me needed impeck da bag. Her putted da chunkies back in him container and putted him new chunkies in him counter bowl. Me den impeck it and it passeded. Me licked me mouf when it passeded. Me watched mom gived Kory some. Him yiked it. Me tolded you it passeded. Him be ok wif me taked care him.

Kory is doing a little better. His cough had kind of disappeared but has come back. It mainly happen when he barks. That is why the vet thinks it is an URI. He is on medication for it for a couple more days. He has to be on the special diet for the pancreatitis problem. Have to watch him for the next couple days. He may go back after I get home from work on Friday when his doctor is there. He is eating good and wants to play some. He has more energy. I have to talk to his doctor to see if he can go to the groomers next week. I am thinking no but then have to take him into work to get his nails done. The doctor also increase his medications and will want her look at him to see if we can cut back to the old amount. But I think it will be a little longer. I am staying positive and Andrew is a help. I know he is having a problem when Andrew doesn't come to be. Andrew has been acting kind of weird lately but I think it is the fireworks that aren't suppose to be shot off. It sounds like a bomb going off. Tonight it sounded like gun fire which it could have been. Andrew didn't run out of the room this time.

I am at grandpa’s and they are making the booms here, too Andrew. Humans are weird, why do they make all those loud noises? They yell at us to use our inside voices and then they shout and make booms. It is not fair. Grandpa got down on the floor to make sure I was ok under the bed. And then he gave me treats to make me feel better. I sleep with him. He snores louder than mama. Love Ella bella
(yup, my dad is watching the cats while I am in Italy, and they’re already setting off fireworks for the 4th of July. Cats are terrified of the noises, so,they go under the bed. Dad told me he got on the floor,to make sure they were ok. ❤️)

Humans are weird here too. They do booms only when is New Year thing. Me don´t like humans who do big booms hours before and after New Year thing. Me go under the bed when booms start and don´t come out. Meowmy and mama too don´t like boom humans.

Yes since Kory has a cough and we aren't sure why we decided that Kory shouldn't go to the groomers this month. The VET doesn't think he got anything from there and they hadn't had any reports of a problem. Kory has all his vaccines. She thinks cause of his heart condition it caused the URI. He is doing better though. Not as much coughing, but when he does start coughing I get sad cause heart condition and cough isn't good. The VET said cause of his heart it is harder for him to get over any URI he may develop. I can schedule him an appointment next month. She said we will booster one of his vaccine that help him while at the groomers. His groomer requires all vaccines and she keeps a copy of all the vaccine records on file. She scans them into her computer. They check every time you make an appointment. As far as his pancreatitis he is doing better with that too. The VET wants him on his special diet for 2-3 weeks to make sure he is over that. He has done a little play but ends with a cough. So he has to go to his crate. I rotate his bones so he thinks he is getting a new one every time he has to go in. Yesterday Andrew got closed in with him. Nope couldn't find my phone to take a picture. It wasn't Andrew's first time. I don't know what Andrew told Kory cause Kory was sitting in a corner and Andrew was in front of the door.

Once, Roosa has stayed in the wardrobe for a few hours. Neither noticed that Roosa went to the wardrobe. A few hours later, I had to get something (luckily) from the wardrobe, the surprise the inside became an indignant cat who ran with her tail up to the litterbox.

Yes now Kory is doing better Andrew decided it was his turn. They don't want to put him on antibiotics yet cause this may just be his herpes and not a URI. The VET said if it is a URI then going till Friday with a little extra lysin won't hurt. She told me if he gets worst just let her know and she will start him on antibiotics. He is eating and keeping up with Kory so that is good. If he goes off his food she will be called right away. This is how we have treated him through the years. So figures cross it is herpes. Kory was suppose to go to the groomers Thursday but he isn't. I am glad I cancelled it. I will get him in next month. He will be better off not having it done this time. He still has a little cough but better. Now ANDREW!!!!

He got one of his shots to help with his immune system today. Still sneezing and very grouchy. He went after Nate which he doesn't do as much as he does Matthew. They have me give all 3 a little extra lysin powder. It has been a little muggy and warm today. So that can add to his sneezing since he is laying in front of fans. Kory had a couple coughing spells and heavy breathing cause of the heat. My back is a little sore today so not risking it to put the air in. I have 3 fans in Kory's area. I got a small one cause the air isn't in. The fan in my area is normally the one that goes in front of Kory's air. Oh well I think I will be putting them in by the end of the weekend. Poor Kory and Andrew feel bad for them.

It rained here all day yesterday. I liked the fact I was able to keep the windows open the whole time. I have windows in all the directions. It got a little chilly last night so shut the windows. Kory is about the same. I don't think he will every get back to normal. So I guess the heavy breathing and the cough every so often. Now there is Andrew. He couldn't be left out. He is so mad at me but he didn't have to go to see the VET. She sent me home with an antibiotic which he hates. I have to give him liquid and there is a lot cause of his size. I tried to hide it in his can food but the brat is too smart and wouldn't eat it. That is why I closed birdie tv window which mad him made. He looked so sick last night I texted the VET and she said to bring him in with me in the morning. Oh was that an adventure. I'll let Andrew tell it. So since Andrew wouldn't eat his supper so had to throw that bowl away and give him can with out the medicine in it. He did eat that. Yesterday he was so bad. He laid down and you could see his eyes and when he woke up he was coughing and you couldn't see his eyes. I turned on a cool mist humidifier and he improved. He was just having a coughing sneezing event so I turned the humidifier back on and he is laying right by it. If he isn't any better by Monday he has to go in she said.

Oh these cats can be so dramatic. I cut Kory's nails to short and they bled a little. He has white fur on his feet and there was blood on his fur. He got his anal glands done by his VET too. She listen to his heart and chest and said he is better then he was. If he has accidents I am suppose to let her know. Please don't forget to read the post above this one so Andrew won't be upset cause it is about him and his smarty escape from the space stroller. Oh I had a hold of Kory' leash while he was riding in the stroller this morning. When I put him in it he sits at the back of the stroller and doesn't move. I'm not suppose to let him walk there anymore so the stroller is very handy. We changed the vaccine schedule as the vaccines we use are good for 3 years. We uses to do them yearly but the company said we didn't need to do that. So Andrew won't have to have his vaccines for 2 years. I may do them next year because of him being a herpes carrier. But not this year. Money isn't a issues with them as they are free to me as an employee. Kory has 2 vaccines that are due yearly but I get one every 6 months since he goes to the groomer. His rabies is due every 3 years.

A great trick Andrew! There is no rear door in our box if me make a rear door then me don't have to go to VET. Old Girl Nöpö has tried to dig through the bottom but has not succeeded in it.
Meowmy say that my nails need pretty nail treatment this week. Nope! It´s only for girls and me is boy.
