I'm so sorry. Kory was loved, and that's all a dog really wants in the world.

Was hard going back to work yesterday. I took Monday off. I did a special cremation on him just like I have done on all my kids since I started working at the vet's. I also do a special urn for them so won't get Kory back till next week. Yesterday was a hard day at work. He remains was picked up Monday so I knew he wasn't there which was a little easier. Andrew is a little lost as they were best of friends. I have kept his routine so to keep him a little normal. He gets to go out in the pen in the morning while I do breakfast and when I put my shoes on to go to work. It is hard on him now cause of all those fireworks going off. Kory's kennel is still in the same place and the door is open if he wants to go in it. Andrew is eating which is good. His poo went back to soft but the VET said it is stress and not to give him yucky mouf tuff LOL right now cause that will stress him more. This morning it was starting to go back to normal. We had just gotten it normal before Kory's passing. I am surprise Andrew wants the babies around him as much as he does. Nate has claimed some of Kory's stuff toys. I knew he would. After 9 almost 10 years Kory had lots of toys. I sent his favorite ones with him so the toys Nate is playing with doesn't bother me. He found Andrew's Rattie which Kory stole so now it is Nate's. Yep Nate carries around stuff toys. He plays with them more then cat toys. They didn't have cat toys were I got them from only the kid's toys. I guess we can say so far so good. It will be hard when Kory comes back and I know he is in a better place since he was struggling to breath so hard. He is at peace.

Mom

Maybe Andrew start like little boys more or because he miss Kory, I don´t know. 

Viivi have lot of toys but they are destroyed because she likes to bite all toys into atoms. You can't buy stuffed toys or toys with a whispering thing inside. Hard bones are only ones she can´t destroy easy.

Nate is sure to be cute looking to carry her toys and very proud of his catches.
Vili is always so proud of him, tail standing up straight on and carry his prey. Yesterday, Vili discovered a mummified, fluffy hair ball. It was the finest catch of the day, Vili thought.

Meowmy

I am keeping Andrew as normal as possible. He looks sad sometimes. The fire works last night was horrible around here. They were shooting them off till well after midnight. They can shoot them off till midnight tomorrow night. We have been going through this every night since Memorial Day which was at the end of May. Our law says no but the police want you to give the address where they are being shot off at. I am not going to go out walking at 7 or 8 at night to find out where they are being shot off. No way. Not my job I told them. I respect the police but not enough to do their job. I have a State Trooper as a friend. I told him about what the dispatcher told me. He said I should had called the police station and let them know what I was told. I will do that the next time. Poor Andrew after losing his best friend who he stayed close to when them thing were going off had to go through the worst by himself. I kept checking on him. He was in his favorite box. They don't bother the babies at all.

My two are under the bed.   The fireworks here have been going off all week.   So many fires start here because of them.   I just wish they’d stop selling them.

Yast nited me heared dem boom booms gain. Mom sayed it was no boom booms yik dey done it was boom booms wif sky water. Me birdie tv haded sky water on it wif boom booms. Me no hided wif dem. Me sitted wif mom while her watched Timmy, Momo, Beanie, and Lar on her yittle tv. Me heared funny noise. Mom say dat is mama wif cookies. Me almosted got down but den me heared boom boom gain so me stayed wif mom. Me heared noder funny noise and mom say mama drowing cookies at Momo. Why mama drowed cookies at Momo? Her madded at Momo? Mom telled me Momo liked to play cookie catched but her no catched dem and dey falled on da floor. Me mom putted me cookies on me blankie me no played catch wif cookies it too muched work. Mom telled me mama putted pile cookies for Timmy and Beanie as dey no play cookie drow. Me asked what bout Lar? Mom say Lar liked to helped him telf but mama saided no her handed Lar him cookies. Mom say mama called it pj party. Me called it cookie time. By timed party done boom booms goed away. So me mom gib me cookies and me goed to night nite. Mom sayed Kory goed to Bridge weeked ago today. Her maded me sad now. Me and mom doing ok but mom tarted cry yeserday cause her telled me her no do him yucky mouf tuff for first time in eber. Her gooed and watched Canada Day wif fuzzy bums and her giggled and sayed dem names. Her maded me come see her whenned her talked dem names. Me looked at her and her telled me dey babies in da video. Me dink hoomins weirded some times.

Me do bedder. No more boom booms by hoomans. Mom say de man on her birdie tv dat we mighted have boom booms marrow. Me no yik dem but hoomans ones are scarier den sky boom booms. Mom say dat man say hot and him say sweaty but me know hot but me no not sweaty. Mom say you meomy will no what her talk bout.

Me don't like those terrible voices. Me run under the bed to hide so the voices can't find me. Meowmy says that sweat is almost as if the window in the bathroom had been opened in the winter just after the hot shower. But me don't like showering, it's too wet. Strange people when they want to get wet voluntarily. Why not wash like cats ?? Me no understand humans.

Vili

Me mom go in dat ding wif da wet room and dumb Matfew no getted out when mom putted him out. Her gotted in and no see him. Guess what happened Matfew?? Me yaff at him caused him all wet. Him gotted yearn how kitties taked baffs. Him is yittle so him has yittle brain me guess. Him no yearns when me tried teached him. Me till missed me doggie. Me yooked in him kennel but him no dare. Me maked mom eyes run. Den me go fighted wif Matfew and her forgetted me maded her do. Me getted go out in yard in morning me happy. Mom telled me dat me no dog so her dink her is weird yeting me out. Me is boss and me say yet me out so her do.

Sometimes meowmy and mama take us to the place they call the bathroom (torture chamber it is), wash, and finally laugh when we try to get the coat dry. They say it does good, but it is terrible torture!
Vili

Vili overreacts again and increases things. We only wash when there is poop damage or 1 time/year. Washing is so stressful for everyone that it is not often done.

First you are looking for a hidden cat, then listening and washing the cat who scream and grabs claws in every place they can and after drying, you try to keep Viivi away from the fire line when a dreary and deeply hurt old lady picks out of the bathroom.
