I don't know if anyone comes here anymore (Laura, Nancy, Ice-paw?) but I wanted to make a post in case one of you comes here looking for recent posts).  I deleted the most recent of our conversations by mistake. 😥

I am so sorry!  But I've been getting tons of moderation email requests and all of them were spam.  Like, literally thousands.  Tonight I went to clean up the forum and get rid of all the spam. But, I guess I was really tired (it's almost midnight here) and I didn't notice that the screen switched from the "unapproved" spam posts that I was deleting to the "published" posts that we made.  I deleted our most recent chats over the past months before I realized my mistake.  I tried to undo it but I wasn't able to.  I'm really upset.  I enjoyed our conversations over the past year during this crazy pandemic.  Talking to you three helped keep me sane and I'm so sorry that I just erased all those discussions by mistake.

I'm glad that I see two of you on facebook at least but would be happy to start new conversations here as well!

Oh no ... it happened by accident, nothing can be done about it.

We are all fine but we are still mourning the loss of Roosa.

Covid is still here. Vaccinations are given as soon as possible, but it is difficult to get vaccination time. The wife yesterday tried to reserve vaccination time for herself but did not get it. Here you have to book a vaccination time for the nurse / doctor who gives the vaccine, there are no drive-tru places as there were in the early days covid testing places at hospitals. I found a text about the situation in Finland on 24 May.

Reported cases in total: 91,619

248 cases were reported on Saturday, 22.5.

121 cases were reported on Sunday, 23.5.

93 cases were reported on Monday, 24.5.

Tested samples in total approx. 4,882,800

Cumulative number of reported deaths associated with the disease: 939

Number of patients in specialized medical care Wards: 66

Number of patients in primary healthcare Wards: 30

Number of patients in Intensive care: 22

The numbers are small if you compare to other countries but for us a smaller country they are pretty big. And knowing the Finnish mindset, there will be more infections during the summer.

Sorry to hear about Roosa Icepaw. Yes mistakes happen but what can you do. Yep start new. There were lots of sad times the past year but we can start all over with them. I had been the only on to post as of a couple weeks ago and the posts were a month old. Meowmy and wife keep trying. We were in the same way here in Michigan when the State go the vaccines. We just went to no appointments needed at most places. Our drive thru didn't help the ones that didn't drive. I got my second shot on the 10th of April. Some at work just got their first this pass week cause they couldn't get an appointment. Our doctor offices aren't giving them just clinics. I was lucky the clinic where my doctor is started doing the vaccines in March and then and only then was I able to get an appointment. The other places all had none. The clinic was only doing those who had doctors in the clinic. That is a lot in my city as it is an income assistant clinic. So don't give up home and keep masking up. Hey since I'm vaccinated I don't have to mask up. I still do. I feel safer with it. Jackson, Michigan had the highest positives in the Country a month ago. We are no were near it now. Lots of hard work and more places opened helped us. Our county had trouble getting vaccines. We only had the hospital, my doctor clinic, 1 drive thru and 1 pharmacy doing vaccines for a city with over 37,000 people able to get the vaccines. Yes they rolled them out in phases. First health care and first responders then those over 70 then those over 62 then those over 55 with underlying {which I fell under} then 50, then 45 then all others. Now that there are teens able to get it they are having some trouble getting it cause only Pfizer is allowed.. Most of our places had Moderna and J&J. Only the hospital had Pfizer. I got the Moderna. So Meowmy and Wife stay positive. Oh when I got my shot my arm hurt the next day and I was tired. I advise you to make sure you drink lots of water or Powerade type drinks the day before and day of your shot and no over the counter pain meds. I didn't take nothing even for the arm pain. Now wish the allergies will go away.

All the boys are doing good. They have all had dentals in the past couple months. We have already had to put the air conditioners in the windows which makes Andrew very upset. I was able to pull them out last Wednesday and as I can tell won't have to put them in till Friday night or Saturday morning. The house is all closed up right now cause of all the fireworks going on. Tomorrow{5/31} is a holiday here.

Will check back to see who post again. Hope we can keep going.
