Armadillos are nearly indestructible. They seem to be immune to any virus, bacteria, or parasite that would bother other animals. They can survive in the cold of winter and the heat of summer, and they can live off of a diet of ants and beetles. The body temperature of an armadillo is about the same as a human, which is why they do not freeze or get too hot in the winter or summer. They are not picky eaters and eat any kind of food they come across. Armadillos also have a sharp sense of smell and will eat any trash they find as well.
